Whether you want more pull for the run over the mountain or better economy on a daily commute, the map is written for the outcome you asked for. We’ll ask how you actually use the car before we touch the ECU.
Every job starts with reading and storing the original file and checking the vehicle over. If the car isn’t in a state to be tuned safely we’ll tell you what needs doing first, rather than writing the map anyway and hoping.
We also cover Aberaman, Cwmbach, Hirwaun and Mountain Ash, plus the wider Rhondda Cynon Taf area. Bring the vehicle to our unit in Treorchy, or book a call-out and we’ll come to you.

ECU remapping — common questions
Will a remap affect my fuel economy?
It can improve it if that’s what the map is written for and your driving stays the same. Ask for an economy map and drive as you always have and most people see a gain — use the extra performance and you won’t.
Do I need to tell my insurer?
Yes. A remap is a modification and you must declare it to your insurer — not doing so can invalidate your policy. Most insurers will cover a declared remap; it’s a quick call worth making before you book.
Is it reversible?
Yes. We read and store your original factory file before writing anything, so your vehicle can be returned to standard.
Will it damage my engine?
A sensible, vehicle-appropriate map stays within the mechanical limits the engine was designed for. We check the vehicle’s health first and won’t tune a car that isn’t in a fit state for it.
Do you remove DPFs, EGRs or AdBlue systems?
No. Removing or disabling emissions equipment makes a vehicle illegal to use on UK roads and it will fail its MOT. We only carry out work that keeps your vehicle road-legal.
